Service & Maintenance

A regular commercial boiler service prolongs the life of your equipment, reduces the risk of breakdown and maintains warranties

Servicing is the only way of making sure your boiler is working safely and efficiently. Whether you have had a new boiler installed which needs a service every year to maintain the manufacturer’s warranty or have an older boiler, it should be serviced annually to ensure correct functioning.

As a business owner, you are legally responsible for ensuring your boiler is in safe working order. If you are in a tenanted property it is also the landlord’s legal obligation to service any gas appliances. These should be carried out in accordance with the frequency required by the manufacturer. Check your tenancy agreement to confirm responsibility. Additionally, you must have an annual gas safety check conducted by a commercial gas safe registered engineer.

It is vital to service your boiler annually (at a minimum) as it could be the key to picking up any issues before they become major problems. Some of the main reasons why you should have your boiler serviced regularly include:

  • Picking up on issues before they become problems can save you money on unnecessary breakdowns
  • A boiler that is running inefficiently will increase your energy bills
  • If your boiler has undiagnosed issues it can have fatal consequences
  • It is a legal requirement if you are a landlord too

Getting your boiler serviced regularly will ensure it is running efficiently and safely. A faulty boiler can not only leave you with no heating or hot water but it can be extremely dangerous.

We don’t just service gas boilers though. So if you have underfloor heating, an LPG or Oil boiler, a warm air unit or an air source or ground source heat pump, then get in touch for any commercial boiler service or maintenance requirements.
